Saxlandia 2026
Saxlandia is a one-day celebration of all things saxophone for students, educators and community members. Featuring a full schedule of workshops, masterclasses, concerts and an all-participant giant saxophone ensemble. Hosted by William Pyle, Mark Pipes and Shane Valle, with internationally renowned guest artists Steven Banks and Aruna Quartet. As a special bonus, festival participants will also receive a discount to the Oregon Symphony’s evening concert featuring soloist Steven Banks.

Boyd Meets Girl - Gordon House
Acclaimed cello-and-guitar duo Boyd Meets Girl presents a genre-crossing program blending classical favorites by Bach, Ravel, and Villa-Lobos with inventive reimaginings of Radiohead, The Beatles, and Stevie Wonder, alongside contemporary works by Caroline Shaw, Sergio Assad, Reinaldo Moya, and more. Virtuosic playing and engaging commentary create a fresh, surprising musical experience.

Clarinetlandia 2026
Clarinetlandia is a full-day celebration of the clarinet hosted by Metropolitan Youth Symphony. From 9am to 9pm, enjoy clinics, masterclasses, a community clarinet choir, and hands-on sessions with guest artists Andrew Brown (Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra), James Shields (Artistic Director, Chatter PDX), Emily Marlow (National Ballet of Canada Orchestra), Jackie Glazier (University of Arizona), Louis DeMartino (Principal Clarinet, Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra), Jennifer Crocket (Clarinetist and Executive Director, Liberty Theatre), and mouthpiece maker Mike Dassios (Dassios Music). The day culminates in a clarinet-centered performance by our guest artists — a vibrant capstone to a gathering devoted to craft, community, and shared musical curiosity.
